Added the webs. Took a lot longer than i expected. there are tons of little lines in those webs that i didn’t even see until i zoomed in.

After adding all of the colours, and details i added a couple shadow to the file. Gave it the feel that spiderman was popping off of the screen. Last part was just adding the background, and webs.

Had trouble with the right hand. The sketch that i was using as a reference was to blurry to see what exactly he did with that finger hanging out of the fist. I just added a couple lines with the pen tool to give it that clenching feel.

Began adding the black details everywhere. My technique in doing this assignment was making certain areas of the sketch invisible as i worked. As you can tell, i made the webs transparent and the red transparent of the right arm as i added the black details, or shading.

when i started adding all the red areas, i made the webs and outline invisible so i could just focus on the colouring. i then made the red transparent so i could focus on the other areas of the sketch.

began adding colour to the head. This is when it really came alive for the first time because it just stood out from the entire picture. I coloured the head red, and with the mesh tool, i gave it that glare look. then added the eyes, and so on.

The first thing i did when beginning my project was tracing out the outline of the actual sketch… When i finished and got this end result, it when i knew this was about to get really cool!
